There’s a pitch contest on Twitter, you say? Come hither, friend, and gather around my campfire…
Twitter pitch contests are events where you post a pitch, a short 280-character encapsulation of your novel. Agents will scan through these pitches and like the ones they want. Editors will sometimes retweet to draw agent attention to certain pitches too!
Now, a 280-pitch sounds easy, right? I mean, you literally just throw in your plot, main character, and bam…
Just kidding. The truth is that, well, PITCHES ARE REALLY HARD TO CRAFT!
